Buddy Oliver over on Rev22 just posted a pretty neat update on his small church endeavor, “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Exit Doors.” Kinda hits the nail on the head, I think.

How small is your church (attendance)? I thought the church I attend was small! We have 23 on a very good Sunday morning…kids number around 10. By the way, the adult number counts the pastor and his wife, musicians, etc.

Well, we are a Simple Church (aka House Church). Right now we have 7 adults, 1 youth and 4 (sometimes 6) kids…. grand total of 12… (wow, nice number! never realized that before.)

Like my Daddy always said about friends….it quality not quantity that counts…SO true! We attend a church of several thousand, but somehow you still feel like family…it has a wonderful staff that are dedicated to the body. Very cool article.
